Our FAMILY Trip To Nauvoo
July 28-31st, 2008

It took alot of planning but all 14 of us headed off to Nauvoo, IL for a wonderful experience. Who are the 14 of us that went you might ask? The Hansen's(that's us) is 4 + my parents is 2 + The Nadeau's(My best friend) is 5 + her parents and Josh is 3 = 14!!! We rented a house for a few days. It was perfect for all of us and it had a pool to top it all off. Every chance the kids got they were in the pool. Even if it was only for 20 mins. There was so much to see and do there that we couldn't get to everything. The highlight of the trip was the temple!!! the kids wanted to go there every chance they could. The first time we went all the kids sang "I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE" It was music to our ears. They sounded like angels....once we were all singing at the same time. The next thing that we enjoyed was the Pioneer Pastimes. As you can see the kids loved dressing up as pioneers. It was hard to leave and I'm glad the kids got to see the temple and learn more about Joseph Smith. They are still talking about going back to Nauvoo someday. I'm so grateful to the missionaries serving there and for the spirit I felt testifying to me that I am a child of God and that I know this church is true.
